What BeginPulse is

An independent research and data publication covering LLC and company formation across 50 US states + DC and 30+ countries. Operated by Fevantech as an editorial project, not a law firm or a formation service. We are a publisher, in the same category as Tax Foundation, Statista, or CB Insights — except focused narrowly on small-business formation economics.

What BeginPulse is NOT

• Not a law firm. We don’t practice law. Nothing on this site is legal advice or an attorney-client communication.
• Not a CPA firm. We don’t prepare tax returns. Nothing on this site is personalised tax advice.
• Not a formation service. We don’t file your Articles of Organization or hold money. When we link to a service that does (Northwest, ZenBusiness, etc.), that company is a separate legal entity with its own contract with you.
• Not anonymous-author content with invented credentials. Our editorial responsibility sits with the BeginPulse Editorial Team, an in-house group — we do not invent personal personas or claim credentials we don’t hold.

Why this site exists

The LLC formation industry is one of the most opaque in small business. The two largest formation services spend over $100M/year on advertising and SEO; the resulting top-of-funnel content is dominated by generic recommendations (almost always “Wyoming or Delaware”) that frequently don’t fit the asker’s situation.

Our hypothesis: most founders don’t need recommendations — they need data, a calculator, and a clear explanation of the rules. With those three things, they can reach their own answer. That’s what we publish.

Who edits this site

Content is researched, written, and reviewed by the BeginPulse Editorial Team — an in-house editorial group at Fevantech. We do not publish under fictitious personal bylines or invent credentials we don’t have. The authority signal we offer is transparency of methodology and sourcing, not personal résumé.

How we make money

We earn affiliate commission from a small number of formation/banking services when readers choose to use them (full list on our affiliate disclosure). These commercial relationships do not determine which providers we recommend, and we don’t accept paid content placements.

We may also display advertising via Google AdSense. Ad placements are editorially independent of content recommendations.

• Foreign company registries — Companies House (UK), ACRA (Singapore), e-Resident.gov.ee, IRD (HK), and others
• Tax Foundation, AICPA, and major-firm jurisdiction guides (corroboration, not sole source)
