1. What we collect

• Calculator inputs: Numbers you enter into our calculators are processed entirely in your browser. They are not transmitted to our servers and are not stored.
• Email address (only if you opt in to our newsletter).
• Usage data via Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization (page views, browser type, country-level location).
• Ad-serving data via Google AdSense (see section 4).

2. What we do NOT collect

• Account passwords (we do not have user accounts)
• Financial data you enter into calculators (it stays in your browser)
• Personally identifying information beyond email if you subscribe

3. Cookies

We use three categories of cookies:

• Essential — required for the site to function (none currently in use).
• Analytics — Google Analytics 4 with anonymized IP. You can opt out.
• Advertising — Google AdSense and partner networks may set cookies for ad personalization.

4. Google AdSense and advertising

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website and other sites on the Internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.

Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.

5. Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you have rights including:

• The right to access, update, or delete any information we have on you
• The right of rectification if your information is inaccurate
• The right to object to our processing of your personal data
• The right to request that we do not sell your personal information

6. Data retention

Newsletter subscribers' email addresses are retained until they unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained for 26 months by default (Google Analytics standard setting).
